Our Development team has been extremely busy this quarter, working diligently to keep our system humming with the latest and greatest enhancements!
Set to release in early 2025, our efforts have been spread across several different areas of the platform. Here’s a summary of the upcoming improvements that will benefit clients in many different ways:
Cruise:
- Cruise customers will soon be able to set unique pricing on a per-cruise sailing basis. This flexibility allows for more accurate and competitive pricing strategies.
Reporting:
- Lot managers can now project occupancy in our One Month Detail report, enabling better planning and resource allocation.
- Enhanced features for the Discount Report and Tax Summary Report will provide more detailed and actionable insights.
- Performance improvements for the Activity Report will ensure faster and more reliable data retrieval.
PARCS Equipment:
- A major improvement to data delivery, this integrative feature offers queued delivery for reservations to PARCS equipment. Resilient data delivery is ensured to third-party systems, even during system downtimes, maintaining operational continuity.
Major User Interface (UI) Upgrade:
- A completely revamped reservation booking journey, with a new look and feel for managing taxes, options, and discounts. This massive UI refresh will make the user experience easier, more intuitive, and much more efficient.

Unlock the power of your data!
Space Genius parking management software is teeming with data waiting to be harvested and utilized! Operators who understand the power of data know that using and understanding it greatly impacts efficiency, operations, and most importantly – profit!
The Space Genius Admin Portal is a great resource for accessing your data. For example, there is a handy little tool that lets you sort and filter information with ease. From broad overviews to gritty details, our system has the data you need.
The Sort Handle
Have you ever noticed there are several places in the Space Genius Admin Portal that have the icon pictured below? Did you ever click on this to see what it means? Commonly called a sort handle, this is an icon that is used for sorting and filtering information.
Once you’ve clicked on this icon it will open a pop-up that will ask you to enter your criteria for your search. These search options will be specific for the column you are searching in and can be a search that “contains” only a portion of what you are searching for, such as a name or number.
In our system there are many places where you can sort or filter to narrow down the results you are searching for in a grid. Areas in the system that allow you to Filter/Sort are
- Locations
- Products
- Channel
- Users
- Options
- Many of the Reports
